Wendy Johnson and Todd MacLennan, both of Woodbury, Minn., were married Sept. 30 in Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale, Minn.

Her parents are Glenn and Darlene Johnson of Duluth. His parents are Gary and Beverly MacLennan of Brooklyn Park, Minn.

The bride chose her sister, Glenda Houle, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Gates, Amy McGrath, Barb Hegvik and Kristen Gates. Stephanie Houle and Megan Gates were junior bridesmaids and Rachel Houle was flower girl.

The groom chose Phil Smith as best man. Groomsmen were Rick MacLennan, Gordie MacLennan and Jeremy Hegvik. Mattie MacLennan was the groom's escort and Kyle Gates was ring bearer.

The bride, a 1987 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a paralegal for Murnane Brandt Law Firm in St. Paul.

The groom, a 1986 graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, graduated from St. Paul Technical College in 2001 with a vocational certificate in plumbing. He is a plumber/foreman for Schadegg Mechanical in South St. Paul.
