John and Mary Grussendorf of Esko will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with their family.
John and the former Mary Aili were married June 15, 1968, in Apostolic Lutheran Church in Esko.
Their children are Miranda and Steve Sundland of Duluth and Angela and Tom Pantsar, Brenda and Chris Cid and Tanya and Tim Pagelkopf, all of Esko. They have 12 grandchildren.
John is associated with Grussendorf Nursery in Hermantown and has coached high school sports for many years. Mary is a homemaker and provides child care for their grandchildren.
