Lea Jacobson of East Northport, N.Y., and Trevor Coombes of Duluth were married April 13 in East Northport.
Her parents are John and Peggy Jacobson of East Northport. His parents are Gloria Walters and Michael Coombes, both of Duluth.
The bride chose Laura Keehn as maid of honor.
The groom chose his brother, Nathan Coombes, as best man.
The bride, a graduate of Northport High School, graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a bachelor's degree in English and Japanese studies and from St. John's University in New York in 2006 with a master's degree in Asian studies. She teaches English as a foreign language in Tokyo.
