It's time for one of Duluth's most delicious traditions: The 60th annual Duluth Lions Club Pancake Day is taking place today.

The event takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center's Pioneer Hall.

Tickets for the all-you-can-eat pancake party are $7 at the door or online at lionspancakeday.com. Kids age 4 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult.

Tickets include all the pancakes you can eat along with sausage, orange juice or milk, and coffee. Bacon strips will be for sale at the "extras" station, and a limited supply of gluten-free pancakes will be available.

There will be free parking at the DECC on Pancake Day, compliments of Waddell & Reed financial advisors, as well as free vision screening.

The event is the major annual fundraiser for the Duluth Lions Club, which returned more than $50,000 to the community last year with a priority on youth programs and efforts to help people who are sight- or hearing-impaired, or have diabetes.
