An 82-year-old Squaw Lake man apparently drowned in Dixon Lake in Itasca County.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Office said David Jerome Eckberg was found Monday afternoon floating near a dock near his home.
Itasca County Sheriff deputies, Minnesota conservation officers and Leech Lake tribal conservation officers responded to the scene. Eckberg's body was taken to Grand Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids for an autopsy and results are pending.
