At Thursday's meeting, the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board approved:

* A grant of up to $480,000 to the city of Ely to develop infrastructure to a 48-unit assisted living development adjacent to Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital.

* A $150,000 grant to the city of Eveleth for a proposed 6,000 square-foot addition to an Eveleth Health Services Park dialysis center.

* A $200,000 grant to the city of Gilbert for site improvements to a 24-unit townhome development.

* A $100,000 grant to the city of Grand Rapids for site work at an industrial building adjacent to the Grand Rapids-Itasca County Airport.

* A $250,000 grant to the city of Virginia for infrastructure to a new industrial site.

* A $150,000 grant to the city of Keewatin to help pay for cleanup of an oil-contaminated site.

* A $250,000 grant to the city of Nashwauk for wastewater system improvements.

* A $200,000 grant to the city of Chisholm for street development.

* A $300,000 grant to the city of Hibbing for housing development.

* A $100,000 loan to Premier Plastics, Inc. of Hoyt Lakes toward construction of a new storage building.

* A $200,000 loan to Range Monument and Granite Works in Virginia toward an expansion.

* A $500,000 loan to CrossUSA of Burnsville toward development of an information technology center at Progress Park near Eveleth.
