An Iron Range man was indicted Wednesday in U.S. District Court in St. Paul for allegedly conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute it.
The indictment alleges that Jeffrey Donald Doig, 33, of Virginia, conspired with others to distribute 50 or more grams of meth from the fall of 2011 through May 2, 2012.
If convicted, Doig faces 10 years to life in federal prison.
The case was developed as a result of an investigation by the Boundary Waters Drug Task Force and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
