A 26-year-old Mountain Iron man is in custody for alleged involvement in a burglary near Cook earlier this month.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reported that it executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of West Howard Street in Hibbing on Saturday evening and arrested the suspect after discovering stolen property from the burglary. Wood products and tools were among the evidence seized.
The suspect is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail, pending a court appearance. The News Tribune typically does not name suspects until they have been formally charged.
