A 30-year-old Virginia man is in custody after allegedly burglarizing a Mountain Iron liquor store early Friday.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a burglar alarm at Silver Creek Liquor, 5489 Highway 7, just after 6 a.m. On arrival, they found that the rear door of the business had been forced open. The suspect was arrested as he exited the building.
The suspect was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail in Virginia pending formal charges.
