A man from Iowa was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Itasca County Sunday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Robert A. Ledbetter, 51, of Redfield, Iowa, was killed after the van he was riding in left Minnesota Highway 46 and hit a tree.
The van's driver, Steven A. Phifer, 55, and George E. Ledbetter, 59, both of Minneapolis, both suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.
The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. The road was dry when the accident happened.
