Victor Lewis, an internationally recognized leader will discuss the racial paradigm and share his vision of a world of interracial, intercultural solidarity.
Victor Lewis is best known for his inspiring and catalytic role in the award winning race relations documentary, The Color of Fear. In preparation for his visit, The Color of Fear has been shown in over 10 locations over the last month in Duluth by local organizations, colleges, universities and institutions. Facilitated discussions followed the showings of the film. His visit is sponsored by the YWCA and 15 other co-sponsors.
Given the outcome of the national election the topic of his speech, Time For Transformation: From the Politics of Race to the Politics of Solidarity is extremely timely.
