A two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon just north of Duluth put one passenger in the hospital and caused minor injuries to another passenger.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office received a call at 4:15 p.m. about a collision at the intersection of West Tischer Road and Washburn Road east of Jean Duluth Road. Officers were told that a pickup headed north on Washburn did not stop at a stop sign and struck a sedan heading west.

A passenger in the sedan was sent to a hospital. A passenger in the pickup had minor injuries.
