Films on storm-chasing, dolphins and flight will be in daily rotation through Labor Day as part of the Duluth Omnimax's summerlong $5 Film Festival.

The series features seven popular IMAX films, starting at noon and playing every hour daily.

The lineup includes:

  • "Mysteries of the Great Lakes," (noon, 7 p.m.) the science and history of the lakes
  • "Dinosaurs Alive," (1 p.m.)
  • "Stormchasers," (2 p.m.), the origins of weather patterns and extreme conditions like monsoons, hurricanes and tornadoes
  • "Alaska" (3 p.m.), natural phenomena, exotic wildlife and stories of survival
  • "Magic of Flight" (4 p.m.) from Kittyhawk to the Blue Angels
  • "Amazon" (5 p.m.)
  • "Dolphins" (6 p.m.), travels from the Bahamas to Argen­tina with two scientists who study dolphin communication. The $5 tickets are available at the door, 301 Harbor Drive. For more information, go to www.decc.org.
