What: "The Philadelphia Story," a play by Philip Barry, premier social-comedy writer of the 1930s. It spawned the wonderful Katherine Hepburn-Cary Grant-Jimmy Stewart 1936 film, but the Playhouse production isn't the same as the film. Director Molly O'Neil didn't watch the movie before shaping the production. What's the difference between theater and movies? Come and see.
