Motorists on Interstate 35 near 27th Avenue West in Duluth will encounter lane and ramp closures Thursday and Friday as crews smooth the pavement by grinding off bumps.
The southbound right lane on the bridge between 27th Avenue West and the ore docks will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
The ramps from southbound and northbound I-35 to southbound I-535 will be closed for several hours late Thursday afternoon or on Friday.
