Huskies sign Bonadonna, Altobelli

Joey Bonadonna, the 2007 Northwoods League Silver Glove winner and Second Base Offensive Player of the Year from the University of Illinois, will return for a fourth season with the Duluth Huskies in 2008.

Joey Bonadonna, the 2007 Northwoods League Silver Glove winner and Second Base Offensive Player of the Year from the University of Illinois, will return for a fourth season with the Duluth Huskies in 2008.

The Huskies also signed Bonadonna's Fighting Illini teammate, infielder Dominic Altobelli. Altobelli played for the Fayetteville SwampDogs of the Coastal Plains League, where he was named a mid-season All-Star and led the SwampDogs with 10 doubles.

Turcotte makes Rage

Former Superior Stampede first-team All-American defenseive end Dan Turcotte Jr. of Superior made the 2008 roster for the Orlando Rage minor-league football team.

Turcotte led the Mid-America Football League with 21½ sacks in 2006 with theStampede.
