A.J. McElderry pitched the ninth for his fourth save of the season, handing Thunder Bay its sixth straight loss.
Wass started the comeback by homering in the second inning and also singled in the fourth inning as the Huskies tied the game at 2-2. In the seventh, Paul Karmaris and James Ramsay hit two-out singles and scored on Wass' double.
The Huskies improved to 11-5 in the second half of the season and maintained a 1½-game North Division lead over Willmar heading into tonight's game against first-half champion Mankato at Wade Stadium.
