VIRGINIA -- A 21-year-old Hoyt Lakes man was sentenced to 25 years in prison today after admitting that he sexually assaulted two pre-teenage girls last year.
Nicholas Kent Aeverman pleaded guilty in St. Louis County District Court in Virginia in November to four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct between Feb. 1 and July 17 of this year. As part of a plea agreement, 12 other counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct were dismissed.
Aeverman admitted to engaging in sexual penetration with each of the victims twice, forcing them to perform oral sex.
The defendant apologized to his victims before being sentenced to 300 months in prison by Judge Gary Pagliaccetti.
