The "House of Hearts" Celebrity Bonspiel raised over $25,000 for the American Heart Association. That figure was announced recently by Amy and Tim Wright, chairpersons for the third annual event that took place at the Duluth Curling Club on March 18 - 20.

This uniquely formatted event brought in 28 celebrity curlers/skips, including: Arnold Asham - Winnipeg, Manitoba: curling entrepreneur; Theresa Breen - Toronto, Ontario: 4-time Scott Tournament of Hearts participant (Canadian Women's Championships; Natalie Nicholson - Bemidji, MN: 2004 US National Champion; George Karrys - Richmond Hill, Ontario: 1998 Olympic Silver Medalist; Stefanie Richard - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island: 2001 World Junior Champion; Debbie McCormick - Rio, Wisconsin: 2003 World Champion; Rick Lang - Thunder Bay, Ontario: 2004 Provincial Senior Champion, 2-time World Champion; Elaine Uhryn - Sault Ste.
