High school hockey takes center stage in the Twin Ports area, as regional powers collide. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton squares off against Duluth East at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center at 8 p.m. tonight.

The squads are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, according to the Duluth News Tribune's Large School Hockey rankings. In the statewide Let's Play Hockey poll, CEC is No. 3; East is No. 5.

The two teams met in the Section 7AA semifinals last year, when the Lumberjacks scraped out a 1-0 victory and snapped the Greyhounds' 15-game win streak.
