Historical hike planned for Mission Creek segment

Most Duluthians know about Seven Bridges Road along Skyline Parkway in eastern Duluth. But do you know about the other seven bridges in western Duluth?
Duluth Preservation Alliance vice president Doug Stevens and member Bob Berg will lead a historical hike along the old Mission Creek segment of Skyline Parkway at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Hikers should meet at the Iron Mug Coffee House, 1096 88th Ave. W in Morgan Park. Hikers will carpool to the trailhead. Expect to hike about 2.25 miles through brush, one-way, and rock-hop across water at two points. In case of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled.
