A Hibbing woman died last week, three months after being seriously burned in a house fire.
Alice Quirk, 70, died last Sunday at Essentia Health Duluth, according to her obituary. She was injured in a Dec. 23 house fire in Hibbing, after which she was airlifted to Duluth.
Quirk was born in Chisholm, graduated from Bemidji State University and spent 53 years working in the child care field. Survivors include two daughters, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
