Herbert and Aulie Kamunen of Esko will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, dinner and dancing from 4-10 p.m. Saturday at 103 N. Cloquet Road East in Esko.
Herbert and the former Aulie Rahkola were married June 22, 1957, in Hibbing.
Their children are Dale and Debby Kamunen of Cloquet; Leo Kamunen of Carlton; Lella Rogers of Mary Esther, Fla.; Debbie and Rod Davis of Carlton; and David and Sue Kamunen of Esko. They have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Herbert is retired from Duluth Missabe and Iron Range Railway. Aulie is retired from St. Louis County.
