Helen L. Hepokoski, 91, passed away January 5, 2007 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth.
She was born August 12, 1915 in Duluth to Otto and Bertha Saarinen. Helen was a lifelong Duluthian, she graduated from Central High School in 1934. Helen was united in marriage to Arthur Hepokoski May 11, 1935.
She was a homemaker and also worked for several years as a part-time administrative clerk at UMD. Helen was a long time member of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church, and she was much beloved by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Arthur; two sons, Thomas (Magda) of Homewood, IL, James (Barbara) of Cheshire, CT; four grandchildren, Diana, John, Joanna, Laura; two great-grandchildren, Macy and Ava.

Helen's family wishes to thank the caregivers of the Willows section at Chris Jensen for the loving care and attention they provided over the past two years.
Private services were held at Helen's request. Arrangements were handled by The Cremation Society of Minnesota.
