Severe weather warnings across Northeastern Minnesota didn't convert to much weather-related damage Tuesday night.
Kevin Donofrio with the National Weather Service office in Duluth said Highway 169 east of Grand Rapids at one point Tuesday evening had been covered by about two feet of moving water. As of 10 p.m., the flooding had subsided, he said.
Although there were two tornado warnings issued near Grand Rapids and in central St. Louis County near Cook in the evening, Donofrio said he hadn't heard any reports of tornadoes touching ground as of 10 p.m.
