A civil hearing scheduled for Friday in the case of alleged wrong-doing by the Wolff Agency of Hermantown has been delayed until May 11.

The hearing, before Administrative Law Judge Kevin Snell in St. Paul, will determine whether violations occurred that warrant license revocations, disciplinary action and sanctions against former owners Duane Wolff and his son, Douglas Wolff.

The father-son insurance team is accused of misappropriating more than $2.3 million. The hearing was rescheduled after a continuance was requested, Snell said.After hearing the case, the judge will make a

recommendation to the Minnesota Department of Commerce within

30 days.
