When my husband and I got married in 2006 we had a hard time thinking of a song and agreeing on one for our first dance. We both don't dance much and we didn't really want something cheesy, but we wanted it to be unique. When we figured out that our wedding date was the same as the Harvest Moon that year we finally had a match! Neil Young's "Harvest moon" fits our personality so well and it was a great addition to the lovely evening. It's a great, folksy, slow tune; perfect for our first dance as husband and wife. The weather was beautiful that day and with luck the full harvest moon was out in its full glory that night. Now every time we hear the special song we remember our special day.
