St. Scholastica's catcher Justin Harriman earned NAIA Region III Player of the Week honors Tuesday.
Harriman went 18-36 (.500) with one home run and 15 RBI in 10 games last week, leading the Saints (13-1-1) to a 10-0-1 romp through the Florida Coast Tournament in Ft. Pierce, Fla.
The senior from International Falls is in the midst of a 41-game hitting streak, just five games short of the NCAA Division III record of 46 games set in 1998 by Aurora University's Cory Breyne.
If Harriman can continue the steak through this weekend, he could break the record April 4 against Minnesota State-Mankato.
