MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Daddy suggested Harper and Momma liked it. Marie is a family name on both sides.
PARENTS' WISH OR ADVICE: We want you to live long, play hard and dream big. Oh, and be nice to your big brother because he loves you like nothing else.
SOMETHING SPECIAL: Our urgent trip to the hospital included a visit with a suddenly lenient Minnesota State Patrol officer. Labor lasted two hours, so we were very relieved to be at the hospital -- and not on Highway 61 -- when Harper arrived!
