Last week was National Assisted Living Week and the folks at Edgewood Vista celebrated with an open house that included a farmers market, arts and crafts fair, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and music by Sentimental Journey.
The theme was "Homemade Happiness." According to the National Center for Assisted Living, "Homemade Happiness encompasses the connection that occurs in communities between the staff, residents, and families as they build warm, welcoming, and vibrant homes."
