Singer/songwriter Martin Devaney and Duluth's own Charlie Parr perform Friday at Beaner's Central, 324 N. Central Ave.Devaney, who plays the harmonica and guitar, just released his fourth CD, "Letters Never Sent," while Parr is one of the region's best blues guitar players. The Jazz Roosters, a group of guitar players with more than 70 years of combined musical experience, return to the Blue Note Cafe in Canal Park on Saturday. They'll offer a distinctive blend of classic and original jazz beginning at 8 p.m. Formed in 2005, the Jazz Roosters have played the cafe about 10 times and appeared in other local venues.
