A gravestone has been reported stolen from St. Matthew's Cemetery in Esko.
According to Esko police Officer Thomas Foldesi, family members of the late Terry Lea Turja reported discovering her footstone missing when they went to visit the cemetery. They told Foldesi they believe the stone was taken after May 31.
Foldesi said the incident remains under investigation.
Family members ask that area residents be on the lookout for the gravestone and are offering a reward to anyone who provides information leading to the return of the brown granite stone, which is about 14 by 30 inches with the name Terry Lea Turja and the word "Daughter."
