A Grand Rapids man was seriously injured Friday evening when his motorcycle ran off the road on state Highway 38 in Itasca County.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the Alex A. Renollet, 22, was southbound on a 1982 Honda on Highway 38 five miles south of Marcell at 7:34 p.m. on Friday when he crossed the northbound lane and went into the east-side ditch.
Renollet was flown to Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, where he was listed in critical condition on Saturday afternoon.
He was not wearing a helmet.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.
