Most of Duluth's skywalks will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, until April 13, the city announced Friday.

The exception is the "Northwest Passage" from the Transportation Center to the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, which will continue to be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.

The shutdown, made in partnership with the Greater Downtown Council, is consistent with Gov. Tim Walz's "stay at home" executive order, a city news release explained.
