Rachel Gilles and Ryan Swetkovich, both of Onalaska, Wis., plan to be married Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, Wis.
Her parents are Jeff and Debbie Gilles of Fall Creek, Wis. His parents are John and Evelyn Swetkovich of Duluth.
The future bride, a 1998 graduate of Altoona (Wis.) High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in geology and in 2006 with a physician assistant master's degree. She is a physician assistant in hematology/oncology at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse.
The future groom, a 1996 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and from Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minn., in 2002 with a master's degree in physical therapy. He is a sports medicine physical therapist at Gundersen Lutheran in Onalaska and Winona, Minn.
