George and Lorraine Vanderport of Duluth will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
George and the former Lorraine Flood were married April 4, 1942, in Duluth.
Their children are George and Erin Vanderport, Norma and Harold Abrams and Robert and Jean Vanderport, all of Duluth, and Richard and Sharon Vanderport of Des Moines, Iowa. They have 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
George retired from the Duluth Police Department and St. Louis County Probation Office. Lorraine is a homemaker.
