The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of the Northland for early Sunday morning.
The advisory is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. for central and northern St. Louis County, northern Cook and Lake counties, northern Itasca County and Koochiching County. It includes the Iron Range, Ely, International Falls and the Gunflint Trail.
Temperatures may fall into the lower 30s in the advisory area on Sunday morning. Gardeners should take steps to protect sensitive outdoor plants.
