It's hard to believe we started the month with two days in a row with temperatures in the 50s and then hung out near 40 until Nov. 9. After that we've been under the dominance of a trough of cold air that really has affected all areas east of the Rocky Mountains. With lower-than-average temperatures and tremendous amounts of snow around the country, this November has been anything but typical.
The good news is a brief warm up is in store for us this weekend. Temperatures are expected to be in the 30s all weekend. Some fog is possible on Saturday and a wintry mix looks to return late Sunday.
Another large snowstorm might roll through the upper Great Lakes late Sunday and Monday. It's still too early to tell how much snow we're going to get, but the winds are going to roar.
