Today our weather is going to take a turn for the worse. We will see a big cool-down this weekend, and it starts today. Some Northland residents are waking up to a little snow this morning. Cold air advanced southward out of Canada overnight and cooled the moisture available to allow snow to develop. The good news is that it won't stick around, but areas from Brainerd to Orr and Cook may see 1-3 inches on the grass. We'll see the return of some warmth and sun by Sunday.
