TODAY: A small trough in the jet stream will swing over the Northland bringing in a low-pressure system. This will give us southerly flow that warms us into the mid-30s. It also will give us mostly cloudy skies and a 50 percent chance of some rain and snow. Most of the moisture looks to be north of the Twin Ports. Expect southeast winds at 5-15mph.

SATURDAY: We'll have some snow showers throughout the overnight and into the morning as lows dip to 28. Highs will be around 37 with mostly cloudy skies and a 40 percent chance of flurries. The best chance of snow is in the Arrowhead and places east of Ashland. Accumulations will be around a trace to 2 inches.

SUNDAY: Enjoy the milder weather because an arctic blast is headed our way Monday. Lows Sunday will be in the low 20s and highs in the upper 30s. A cold front approaches from the northwest in the evening, giving us a 30 percent chance of snow showers into Monday.

MONDAY: This cold front packs a punch! Lows will be near 17 and highs near 26. Cold, dry air will clear us up, making skies mostly sunny.
