FRIDAY: A clipper will move over the region, giving us an 80 percent chance of wet snow. The low will usher in warmer air from the south, which will bring our highs up to 40. We can expect 3-6 inches of snow for areas north of Duluth and 2-4 inches in the Twin Ports, points south and northern Wisconsin.
SATURDAY: High pressure will funnel in arctic air, which will create uplift and give us a 20 percent chance of morning flurries. Highs will be near 20, with partly cloudy skies.
SUNDAY: We can expect mostly sunny skies as a high-pressure system sits over the Northland. Morning lows will get down to minus 4, and highs will be about 16.
