FOX 21 WEATHER UPDATE FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 24
Mostly cloudy with chance for light rain in the morning, partly sunny and windy in the afternoon, west winds 15-25, hi: 70, lo: 54.
Tuesday's rain was a nice drink for our dry lawns, but we can always use more. We may get a small dose of rain early, but otherwise today will be mainly dry. We should have cloudy conditions for the first part of today, with at least a little sun-shine breaking out in the afternoon. The day will get progressively nicer, but will be a little windy on the backside of Tues-day night's cold front. We'll see winds from the west today around 15 mph, with gusts to 25 mph. Temperature-wise, it will be pretty nice, with highs in the upper 60s to a few low 70s today. Thursday looks to be at least partly sunny, with a high of 66, and the chances for showers and thunderstorms return for Friday and Saturday, with highs of 67 and 60. Sunday brings clearing skies, but a tad cooler, with a high of 59. Looking ahead, there still is no big cooldown in sight, but I do see a batch of colder air sinking down from Canada next week, cooling highs into the 60s and 50's. Normal high is 62, so we're still doing just fine. See you tonight, on FOX 21 News at 9.
