Mostly sunny, breezy and cooler. North winds 10-15, hi: 60, lo: 44.
As a meteorologist, I get plenty of heat when the weather is lousy. So on Tuesday, when we were wallowing in warmth and sunshine, I didn't mind receiving accolades from the carpenter next door, my friends at the gas station and the kid at the DQ drive-through. The whole town was in a great mood. And we should have been, as our average high is 65, and we topped out in the mid-70s. Today won't be quite the same story. It'll be mainly sunny, but a cool front moved in Tuesday night, which will bring us a wind out of the north with a bit of a nip, and our high today will only climb to around 60. Still not bad, but not quite the balmy breezes we had on Tuesday. But we'll make a quick rebound, as our highs will head toward the mid-60s Thursday, and back to the 70s on Friday. That's the way to end the work week! And the weekend is looking pretty good, too. We just have a slight chance for rain on Saturday, with at least partly sunny skies both days, and highs from 65 to 70. Again, thank you. You're too kind! See you tonight, on FOX 21 News at 9.
