FOX 21 weather update for Tuesday, Sept. 30
Mostly cloudy, windy and raw, north winds 15-25, hi: 50, lo: 40.
Today will be vastly different from Wednesday, and I think you'll agree Wednesday will be a big improvement. As a strong low pressure system sits over the Great Lakes, we will continue to have mainly cloudy, and mainly windy conditions today. It will be quite the raw day. Winds will howl in from the north and northwest today, with gusts to 25 mph. We'll actually have a bit of a wind chill, which is a word I hate to use in September. Oddly, Wednesday is the first day of October, and it will be a much nicer day. As high pressure moves in, the sun will return on Wednesday, winds will die down, and we'll have a high in the mid 50s. The normal high for today is 60, so don't expect many of those 70s anymore, like we had last week. The high pressure moving in is pretty big, so Wednesday through the weekend will be mainly sunny, dry, light winds, with highs in the 50s to around 60. That's not too bad. At least nobody is talking about any snow yet. But, it won't be long! See you tonight, on FOX 21 News at 9.
