FOX 21 WEATHER UPDATE FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2008:
Mostly sunny, breezy and cool, east winds 10-20, hi: 58.
Lots of people (me included) will be spending some quality time with their TV sets today, watching their favorite football and baseball teams. But, you don't want to spend the whole day indoors, as it will be a fabulous day to be outside, too. The solution? Put that tv in the garage, and enjoy the best of both worlds (if your teams win, it helps!). High pressure will rule the Northland today, with mainly sunny skies most of the day. We will have a bit of a breeze off the Lake, which will help knock some leaves down, so with a high in the upper 50s you might want a light jacket, while you spend halftime raking. A front moving in will bring us a slight chance for showers tonight, although nothing like the monsoon we had Friday night. Monday stays mainly cloudy, with a chance for light rain, too. But after that, Tuesday through Friday look mainly sunny. The one big change this week will be our high temps. I don't see any more highs in the 70s or 80s out there. Our normal high is about 60 degrees, and we'll struggle to hit that this week. Have a great Sunday, and see you on FOX 21 News at 9!
