FOX 21 WEATHER UPDATE FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2008:
Mostly cloudy, chance for morning showers, windy and raw, NE winds 10-20, hi: 60, lo: 54.
Was yesterday a dream? Aitkin and Hayward hit 81 degrees, and Superior beat them both, at 82! Of course, last night's cold front put an end to that warm weather fantasy. Today is a shocking return to reality, as we'll struggle to hit 60 degrees. A little light rain early today, combined with northeast winds off the Lake at 20 mph will quickly remind us that summer is indeed over. It will remain cloudy most of the day today, with some clearing late. Tonight we'll get down to the mid 40s, and the winds will subside, too. Tomorrow will be a nice, early fall day, with partial sunshine through those orange, red and yellow leaves, light winds and a high of 58. It will be nice enough where you won't want to spend the whole day inside, watching football. So, bring your tv in the garage, and watch the game there. That's what my kids and I do! This coming week will feel more seasonal too, with highs only near 60, and a good chance for more rain on Monday. Sunshine should rule the rest of the week. Enjoy your weekend!
