Fox 21 weather update for Monday, Oct. 27

Today: Mostly cloudy, windy and cool, nw winds 15-25, hi: 40, lo: 28.

Sunday was a fiesty day, wasn't it? Our peak wind gust in the Twin Ports blasted out of the northwest at 44 mph! And Mother Nature couldn't quite decide if she wanted to shower us with rain or snow. I saw a little bit of each, but not much of either. But when it smacked you in the face sideways, you knew it was there, whatever it was! After a bleak day today, with clouds, wind and a high of barely 40, things improve quickly and dramatically. Tuesday will bring sunshine and highs in the mid-40s. Wednesday we'll have more sun in our eyes, with a high of (pinch yourself) 50. And by Thursday, we're looking at another sunny day, and highs in the mid-50s! Wow! I'm both pleased and impressed. The only trick in this forecast of treats is that a weak cold front gets here Halloween Eve, and that will drop our temperatures into the 40s for Friday. Still not bad for ghouls and goblins, though. Or for their tag-a-long parents! See you tonight after the World Series on FOX 21 News!
