Most of this fall we've had above normal temps, and now it's time to pay the piper. The normal high for today is 39 degrees, and we won't see that until Thursday. So, you don't have to feel guilty about how mild it's been. Northeastern Minnesota will only see flurries today, but Wisconsin's South Shore of Lake Superior will continue to see some lake-effect snow, which could amount to 5-7 inches from last night through today. Remember that roads and sidewalks are a little slick suddenly. Cloudy skies, gusty northwest winds and flurries with a high of only 32 is what we'll see today. After a low tonight of 22, the sunshine returns Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the mid 30's. Thursday we should hit 40 again, with a chance for rain. The Duluth Community Band makes a cameo appearance on my weathercast this evening, in anticipation of their concert Monday night at Ordean Middle School.
