Get red, white and blue in Bayfront Festival Park during FourthFest, with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra headlining the annual event.
The party starts at noon, with food vendors, arts, crafts and the Mighty Thomas Shows, including rides and games. The music starts at 2 p.m. and goes through the day until the DSSO's finale. Featured bands include: Crescent Moon, who won the High School Battle of the Bands; the Circuit Breakers Band; Mynx; and a presentation by Randy Lee Band.
The DSSO program will include patriotic tunes and a tribute to veterans.
The fireworks start at 10:10 p.m. and are accompanied by a synchronized musical program broadcast on 92.1 Lite FM radio.
The event is free. No coolers, bottles or pets allowed.
