Four arraigned in Duluth on meth trafficking charges

Four people were arraigned in U.S. District Court in Duluth on Wednesday on charges they were involved in a methamphetamine trafficking organization in the Duluth-Superior area with connections to California and Mexico.

Four people were arraigned in U.S. District Court in Duluth on Wednesday on charges they were involved in a methamphetamine trafficking organization in the Duluth-Superior area with connections to California and Mexico.

The four were among seven people named in a 15-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury on Nov. 14.

The cases were brought as the result of an investigation by the Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

John Raymond Logergren, 57, of Duluth is charged with four counts of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Cayetano Gutierrez-Cabrera, 38, is charged with three counts of conspiracy to distribute and the distribution of meth. Police said Gutierrez-Cabrera is a Mexican national in the United States illegally.

James Ricky Fogg, 40, of Duluth is charged with three meth crimes and with possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Miguel Martinez, 20, of Brooklyn Park, Minn., is charged with three meth crimes.
